Ms. Glimmerveen has been practicing since 2016. She is the mentoring chair for the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Georgia Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, committee chair for the YLD’s Advocates for Students with Disabilities committee, secretary for the Middle Georgia chapter of the Association of Women Lawyers, and a current member of the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court. She is a member of the Macon Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
She was chosen as a 2023 and 2024 Georgia Rising Star by Super Lawyers® in the area of Social Security and 2024 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in the areas of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law and Litigation – Bankruptcy.
She received her J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2015. While in law school, she was involved in multiple student organizations and was a student member of the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court, the Macon Bar Association, and the Environmental Law Section for the Atlanta Bar Association where she served as student chair.
She is a graduate of the Georgia Bar's 2020 Young Lawyer's Division Leadership Academy.
She judges competitions for the National FFA Organization and is the chair-elect for the Community Impact Project committee of the Junior League of Macon.
Originally from Apex, North Carolina, Mrs. Glimmerveen graduated from Mercer University in 2012 cum laude and with University Honors while obtaining a dual B.A. in Spanish and Environmental Studies and a minor in Political Science. While there, she received the Cervantes Award, was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, and was a member of the Phi Sigma Iota and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies.
